yay. yipee. woo-pee-doo. it didnt rain today!

so the POP went according to plan and was held in the parade sq. yays. hah. started off today with a full run through. with the sec2s marching n we, the sec3s n 4s playing. then got kinda nervous with the minor cock-ups here n there. after the run through the wind ensemble (sec3s n 4s) proceeded to arrange the benches n chairs fr all tt was coming fr the POP. swept the parade sq, mopped the hall etc. hah. we did this while the sec2s had full band. last rehearsal before the actual perf. ITS THEIR DAY! their big day to pass out. lolz. cleaning the hall reminded me of my POP. my batch when we had to carry up our own benches *ahem*, n wipe them. hah. imagine mopping a hall 6hrs before the perf. hah. n with ONLY 1 MOP!!! like wth. hah. in the end we were using buckets to pour water in the hall. n using brooms to spread the water on the floor. hah. aft tt we all, the entire band had our lunch break frm 12.30 to 1.30. 1hr lunch break. as most of us,my batch members were polishin our shoes n didnt want to leave school to get lunch, we ordered macs.

ok FACT:- MACS DELIVERY SUCKS TO THE COREEEE! like totally.

ok we ordered our food at 12.30. it was suppose to take 45mins to get to our school. ok. *45mins later*. the fello calls back n tells us tt they misplaced our order. like WTF. ok so they said they would try to find our order. order BBN30. see i can remember. hah. ok then aft awhile say they found it. "it will arrive in 30mins". yeah right. by the time we got our food, it was ard 3.30. im nv gonna order frm macs again. coz they r so "fast".

ok aft eatin we all got ready fr the parade. took a bath n all. hah.

4.15pm: we were all seated in the parade sq gettin ready fr the parade.

5pm: the parade begins with the sec2s marchin in led by han. hah

the parade was the handed over to gab.

while waiting fr the guest of honour, we played exultate. i guess it was ok. aft the piece we waited. and waited. hah. the guest of honour took so long to arrive. hah. n we almost played danse daibolique when he arrived. hah. our guest was mr. benjamin heng. hah at first they name sounded familier. hah then found out this mornin tt hes tt mediacorp actor. tt guy frm tiramisu. hah. apparently hes was the DM of our band a long time ago. hah. i dont know when . well ya.

ok *the parade continues*

the french horn section has 2 members who got best in music! rahim fr the junior band n frank fr the intermediate band. hah. congrats to u all. proud to be part of the french horn section. yeah. hah.

im also proud of the flag bearers. yeah. hah. all our hard work paid off.

*parade gets ready to march off*

bla bla bla. parade ends. everyone proceeds to the hall fr a short perf by the newly passed-out sec2s.

well fr the perf, i really dunno wad to say. all i can say is tt all the sec2, if ur readin this, u need more practice. practice makes perfect. yeah. our esplanade concert n hawaii tours comin up very soon. practice hard. uphold our bands name n bring it to greater heights. u can do it. WE can do it.
